It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis Paiz announces his passing away on September 16, 2018, at the age of 74 years. Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his wife of
52 years, Patricia, his children Russell (Joleen) and April (Erik) and three grandchildren.
Dennis was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He was the lead guitar player of a rock-n-roll band, The Brambles, which played several popular venues in the 1960's. In 1967 he
began his service in the Army with the 1st of the 9th Cavalry Division (Airmobile) in Vietnam as a radio operator.
Dennis and his family moved from Denver to Grand Junction in 1973 and have lived there ever since. He worked for the Rio Grande Railroad as a subcontractor and retired from
Overhead Door Company.
While remaining an avid musician through most of his life he also became a master woodworker. He also greatly loved tying flies, fly fishing and riding his Harley.
