Denzil Gose

Denzil (Den) Ray Gose, age 85, died September 19, 2021. He lived a long and full life.

Born October 11, 1935 in Mongo, Indiana, he was the son of the late Garlan and Reva (Haney) Gose.

He graduated in 1954 from Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, Michigan.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and was very devoted to his family.

He had a great sense of humor and loved reading trivia and memorizing interesting facts.

He enjoyed mushroom hunting, sports, crossword puzzles and loved to read. He was an avid gardener.

Denzil was employed as an inspector for General Motors for over 27 years. He retired in 1993 and enjoyed a long retirement golfing, fishing, hunting, traveling, camping and developed a passion for carpentry.

Denzil is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Marsha (Bair) Gose , of 65 years; daughters, Monica Blanco, Del Ray Beach, FL; Jennifer & (Steve) Gray, Plainwell, MI; son, Douglas Gose, Grand Junction, CO; Grandchildren, Michael Vroman, Robert Gray, & Christopher Gray; great grandchildren, Cooper & Ellie Gray. He is also survived by a brother, Kenneth & (Janice) Gose, Grand Junction, CO; and a sister, Ethylene & (John) Miller, Vicksburg, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dale & (Bonnie) Gose, sister, E. Maxine & (Wayne) Stienbarger.

He will be greatly missed.

Memorial services will be held September 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Living Hope Evangelical Free Church, 2840 B ½ Road, Grand Junction, CO 81503.
