Donald Malcolm Adair, age 81, died Friday, October 28, 2016, following a long illness.
Born May 23, 1935, in Colorado Springs, CO he was the seventh straight son of Everett William Adair and Winifred Isabel Grant.
Donald graduated from Steamboat High School and attended Mesa College in Grand Junction, CO.
He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the mid 1950’s.
Donald has been employed as a delivery man in the laundry industry for over 35 years.
Donald is an avid sports fan including basketball, baseball and any kind of football. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and some of those sessions were known to last the entire day.
Donald, known to some as Red was a friendly, hardworking man always willing to help others when needed.
Donald is preceded in death by brothers John, Edward, Forrest, William, Ralph and George Adair.
Donald is survived by wife Florence Adair , son Malcolm Adair (Maysville, KY), daughter Liz Adair (Palisade, CO) , sister Janet Ozbun(Grand Junction, CO) , brother Bruce Adair (Oakland, CA) and grandson Zachary Adair (Grand Junction, CO)
Memorial services will be held at 3 PM November 7th, 2016 at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO.
