Donald Hatfield

Donald Ray Hatfield, 67, of Montrose, Colorado, passed away on August 19, 2017, following a sudden illness.

Don was born in Montrose on September 27, 1949. He graduated from Norwood High School in 1967.  He was also a veteran of the US Army having served as corporal during the Vietnam War.

Prior to his retirement, Don worked as an equipment operator for San Miguel County in the Road and Bridge Department.

He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports, spending time with his family and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. Don was a very loving, caring and outgoing person who supported and helped his family any way he could and he never knew a stranger.

Don is survived by his, daughter Tisha (Tom) LaFramboise, son Alan (Brandi) Hatfield, his 3 grandchildren Ty LaFramboise, Trever LaFramboise and Jade Nix and his ex-wife Terry Hatfield. He is also survived by other family and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his parents James and Alta Leota Hatfield.
