Donna Sue Christensen Obituary

Donna Sue Christensen, 68, of Grand Junction died January 20, 2022 at her home of extended COPD complications.

Ms. Christensen was born in Grand Junction to her late parents, Clyde and Roberta Smith. She graduated from Grand Junction High School, and was a long­ time floor associate of Rite Aid Pharmacy and the former Gibson Pharmacy in Grand Junction.

Married for 40 years, Donna is survived by her husband William and step­ daughters Melaney (Peter) Harrison and Laura Smith both of Mustang, OK. Brothers Gerald (Starr) Smith of San Diego, CA, and Max (Sharon) Smith of Grand Junction, CO, grand-children, great grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her best friend and sister Shirley Jarrad of Grand Junction.

Private funeral services will be followed (TBD) by a celebration of her life. Per her wishes, Ms. Christensen was cremated and will be interned at Memorial Gardens in Grand Junction.
