Donna Streich

Donna Geraldine (Orth) STREICH, 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017  at The  Vineyards in Grand Junction.  Donna was born November 27, 1927 in Redwood Falls Minnesota. She earned a degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota. In 1950 she married Elwood Walter Streich in Alexandria Minnesota.   They lived most of their lives in Merriam Kansas, raising their family while she worked as a Dental Hygienist.  Donna and Elwood relocated to Grand Junction in 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Elwood Walter Streich.  She was always happy and loved to spend time with family and friends. Survivors include three sons, Tom (Michelle) Streich of Grand Junction, Jon (Dawn) Streich of Naples, FL, Steve (Claudia) Streich of Spokane, WA; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marion Isaak, Norma McNary. The Family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Vineyards and HopeWest for all their support and compassion. The family Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brown's Cremation and Funeral Service.

We will miss her but she will be in a better place.   My kids always talk fondly of going to see mom and dad and how she always had something fun planned for them to do.  Tom and Michelle...a special thanks from the rest of the family.   It was a huge responsibility the last 3 years providing their care.
