Doris Ann Beauchamp

Doris Ann Beauchamp, 79, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away August 24, 2019.

She was born May 9, 1940 in Gillis, Louisiana to Leland Charles and Annice Inez Crawford. Doris spent her childhood growing up in and around Sulphur, LA. She married Paul (Sonny) Beauchamp in Orange, Texas, July 2, 1959, and they moved to Colorado not long after.

Doris retired from City Market, Fruita, CO. She was very committed to her relationship with her Lord and savior. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and cooking amazing meals for them.

She is survived by her husband, Sonny Beauchamp; son Ed Beauchamp (Lloy); daughter, Paula McNeill (Gregg) all of Grand Junction, Colorado; sisters Bertha Thornton (Levan) of Anacoco, Louisiana, Clara Smith of Texas, and Elizabeth (Elwood) Vincent of Louisiana; grandchildren, Nichole Sanders, Natosha Beauchamp, Brittney Beauchamp and Hollie Bingham and great grandchildren, Tyler Bradshaw, Meghan Dyson, Johnathen Dunlap and a new great granddaughter we will meet in October.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Inez Crawford, brothers George Crawford, Kenneth Crawford and James Crawford, sisters Betty Patton and Chloe Vincent.

A Celebratory Gathering will take place starting at 1 p.m. Friday, August 30, at Life Tabernacle Church, 636 29 Rd, Grand Junction, CO, followed by a burial at Crown Point Cemetery in Grand Junction.
