Dorothy Mae Jackson, age 82 of Clifton, CO, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Payson, Utah while visiting her niece Cheryl Boren and family.
Born March 16, 1934 in Anadarko, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late George and Annie Abney Madaris. Following graduation, Dorothy trained to be a Nurses Aide and worked in the health care field for many years.

Most recently, she especially looked forward to Monday night dinner group that started with folks in Cardiac Rehab. Dorothy loved helping people and received great joy from volunteering at thrift shops in both Clifton and Palisade.
Dorothy was well liked for her friendly and easy going personality. She was known to “speak her mind”, and could easily make you laugh.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Jackson and her daughter, Linda Lou Dial.
She is survived by her son, Earl (Malissa) Squires and her daughter, Vickie Squires, all of Grand Junction, two granddaughters, Tyffanae Dial and Ashlynn Squires, and two great grandsons, Erick and Jeromiah Randall. Also left behind but not forgotten, her loving K-9 companion, Dolly.
