Jack Duane Golden, age 66, died October 3,2022 due to lung cancer.
Born August 9, 1956, in Grand Junction, Colorado, he was the son of the late Joe and Lorena Golden. Duane attended high school in Grand Junction, Colorado. Duane had been employed as an over the road truck driver for many years. He had left his employment just a few months before his death.
He loved to ride motorcycles and play with remote controlled airplanes, boats, and trucks. He had a friendly disposition and, he was hard working.
Duane was preceded in death by his mother Lorena Genevieve Garner Golden and his father Joe Gray Golden.
Duane is survived by his son, Michael Shane Stancliff (Beth) of Grand Junction, Colorado, grandsons, Ryan Wells of Grand Junction, Colorado, Jay Stancliff of Grand Junction, Colorado, granddaughter, Courtney Stancliff of Grand Junction, Colorado,two great grandchildren, Ruby and Declan Wells of Grand Junction, Colorado, and his brother, Danny Joe Golden of Montrose, Colorado.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for Friday, November 11 at the Grand Junction Colorado Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 6 p.m. for family and friends.
