Eddie Rodriguez

October 23, 1952 — February 17, 2021

Our beloved Ed (Eddie) M. Rodriguez has transitioned peacefully on the 17th of February at Hope West Hospice in Grand Junction, Colorado. As Ed would say, "Life to Life". He was born October 23rd, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois but spent most of his life in Broomfield Colorado.

Ed was a loving family man, a man of service who gave his heart, and took many under his wing. His greatest love was volunteering with Trucare Hospice  in the Lafayette/Boulder area and Hope West Hospice in Grand Junction.  He volunteered at the CSL Spiritual Center in Grand Junction. He also volunteered with CASA of Adams & Broomfield counties. In 2006, Ed  worked for the city of Broomfield and was instrumental in assisting artists who were beautifying Broomfield with the “Broomfield’s Art Benches”. Ed also worked as an airplane mechanic for United and absolutely loved this job.

Ed is survived by his beloved spouse Theresa, children Nina Willis and Anthony Rodriguez, sisters Betsy and Evelyn, sister-in-law Beverly, and nieces and nephews. He was the beloved father of his late daughter Rebecca, beloved son of his late parents Eufemia and Amado, brother of late Harry and late sister Madeline. Ed was preceded in death by his late wife Jan.

There will be a private Memorial In the near future via zoom. In lieu of flowers please donate to the homeless shelter, hospice centers of your choice, and/or CSL Grand Junction.
