Edith Helen Parker

Edith Helen (Myers) Parker age 92, has been re-united with the Lord Jesus on Monday, July 8, 2024 At Larchwood Inns in Grand Junction, CO. She was born on June 15, 1932, in Grand Junction, CO to Florence Artie Myers and Edwin Burdett Myers. She spent her early childhood in Grand Junction and California, graduating from Grand Junction High School in 1950. Edith was married to the love of her life, Russell D. Parker (deceased) for 45 years. They married on August 31, 1950. Edith worked for Securities Credit, in Grand Junction, Debbie Lynn Manufacturing Company in Provo, Utah and The Grand Junction Regional Center. She was an active member in the First Assembly of God Church since 1956 in Grand Junction and Provo Utah, teaching Sunday School, and Children’s Church. Edith was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother participating in the lives of her large family. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, and photography. Edith is survived by her two sons, Russell Parker II (Tami) and Jeffrey Parker (Eric), her two daughters, Selma Kendall (Cliff) and Linda Kukulan (Rod), and Sister Dorothy Inscho, 12 Grandchildren, 21 Great grandchildren, and 4 Great, Great grandchildren. Russell (husband), Dale(son), Austin/ Karen (son/daughter in-law), brothers, Edwin, David, and Robert Myers preceded her in death. Memorial Services will be On Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Brown’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 904 North 7th St., Grand Junction, CO.81501. Graveside service at 3:00 pm at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
