Edna Johnson

Edna L. Johnson, 76 passed away July 20, 2017 peacefully at home with her daughters by her side after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of the late Wendell Johnson who passed away in 2015 Edna was born July 22, 1940 in Denver Colorado the daughter of the late Edward and June (Mort) Lauck. She graduated from Palisade High School in 1957, and went on to study as a beautician and worked in the field for many years. She went on to become a dining manager for the Bookcliff Country Club and upon retiring she served the great people of the Regional Center. She enjoyed people, being outside and reading. Edna is survived by to beloved daughters Deana Jacobs of Clifton, Colorado, Julia O’Rourke and her husband Thomas of Auburn Massachusetts, loving son Edward Morris and his wife Shelia of Portland, Oregon and a devoted sister Billie Herman of Palisade, Colorado. Five grandchildren; Derek Jacobs, Zachary Jacobs, Ryan Magee, Justin Morris and Nicholas Morris. A memorial service will be held to celebrate Edna’s life on July 29, 2017 11:00 am at Clifton Christian Church, 3241 F ¼ RD.
