Edna Schmidt

Edna Mae Schmidt, age 75, went to be with her Lord onAugust 1, 2022 following a brief illness.

Born October 16, 1946 in Montrose, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bonnie Williams.

Edna graduated from Central High School in GrandJunction, Colorado and L.I.F.E Bible College in Los Angeles, California

Edna had been most recently employed as an office worker at the First Presbyterian Church, Grand Junction for 7 years and as the bookkeeper at New Horizons Foursquare Church for one year. She, along with her husband Henry also spent twenty three years in ministry at Christian youth camps and conference centers.

Edna was a member of Hew Horizons Foursquare Church where she actively taught pre school and first grade Sunday School.

She enjoyed many hobbies, most recently card making

She was an outgoing friendly person who loved the Lord and her family. She was always helping and constantly had a smile on her face.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bonnie.

Edna is survived by her husband, Henry, sons, Eric & Gena and Brian & Dani, two sisters, Bonnie Teets and Elaine Meredith, one brother, David, and one step grandson, Tad.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 13 at 10:30AM at the First Presbyterian Church 3940 27 ½ Rd Grand Junction Colorado.
