Ekadell Kay, age 95, of Grand Junction, Colorado died January 15, 2018 at her residence. Born July, 28, 1922 in Fruita, CO, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Faye Haller. She was a graduate of Fruita High School.
As a young woman she spent a lot of time riding and caring for horses, and her love for horses continued throughout her life.
She was a very friendly and hardworking person, and had worked for some time at St. Mary’s Hospital in the Housekeeping department.
She loved playing board games, especially Yahtzee. But, more than anything, she loved her family and spending time with them. She will be missed by all.
Survivors include two sons, Louie Kay and George Toms of Grand Junction, and three brothers, Babe, Bob, and Owen Haller, all of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by three grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Memorial services will be at 11 A.M. Monday, January 22, 2018, in Brown’s Chapel, 904 N. 7th Street, Grand Junction, CO
