Ellen Betzen

Ellen passed away on February 14, 2018 after battling pneumonia. She was born in Michigan on March 29, 1945 and graduated from Romeo High School in Michigan. Ellen was the eldest daughter of Laurence and Odessa Fisher who had eight children. Her surviving siblings are Leona Peters, Gaill Harrow, Sadie Fisher-DesJardin, Linda Orshoski and Larry Fisher. Ellen moved to Colorado in 1968.

Ellen was a loving wife to Hubert Betzen for 52 years and has two surviving children: a son, George Betzen and a daughter, Angela Betzen. Ellen also had two very loved grandchildren: Samantha Betzen and Veren Bistline.

Ellen loved the company of her Chihuahua, Punkin (and yes his named is spelled that way.) Ellen always tried to  look her best and was always willing to give advice. She never met a stranger, and was larger than life.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
