On Thursday November 18, 2021 Eloisa Esperanza Renteria entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, at the age of 82. She was surrounded by all her children at the time of exiting her earthly tent. 2 Corinthians 5:1
Eloisa was born on May 2, 1939 in Del Norte, Colorado, to Jose Adolfo Galvan and Maria Fedelina ( Valdez) Galvan. Her family moved to Grand Junction when she was a teenage girl. She attended Grand Junction High School and graduated in 1957. Not too long after graduating she married Franklin Joseph Renteria upon on his return from military service. She worked for St. Mary's Hospital, Hilltop, Dixons and finished her career and retired from Environmental services at St. Mary's Hospital.
She enjoyed crocheting, baking cakes, gardening, arrowhead hunting, being in the mountains, and crafting with many of her sisters and nieces. She loved cooking for her family (she made the best enchiladas!) and so many others. But her greatest pastime was being with family! What she did NOT like was cleaning up after a camping trip as she shared not so long ago.
She was beautiful, friendly, quiet, reserved, and very private.
Eloisa was a dedicated wife and mom. She was dedicated to family both far and near. Strong in faith, a prayer warrior, a helper when needed, selfless beyond measure putting others first. Never complained even when you knew she was tired and things were tough. A woman of integrity and loyalty. She lived out her faith!
