Esther Sanchez

Esther I Sanchez passed away April 17, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born June 16, 1955. She worked a number of years with Safeway. She graduated from R-5 in 1975. She was a mother, wife, grandma and great grandma. She had two kids, Paul Sanchez of Denver and Sarah Sanchez of Grand Junction. She is also survived by her husband, Gilbert Cruz of Grand Junction. She had 5 grandchildren, Jonah Sanchez, Mariah Sanchez, Oriana Sanchez, Emilio Sanchez and Taniqua Herrera. She was also the great grandma of 2 grandchildren, Kimberly Sanchez, and one more. Her parents Zack Sanchez and Cyria Sanchez are deceased. She had five sisters and two brothers, one sister is deceased. The things she loved to do were, play bingo, she liked to go out to eat, she loved to clean and listen to music. She loved seeing her grandbaby miss Kimberly and going to Mesquite every year for her birthday. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Esther was an Eagle’s member for 25 years. She was a wonderful mother and best friend. It’s so hard to say goodbye, she will be missed. The services will be at House of Prayer., 28 ½ rd, 198 sunlight dr, at 11:00 am on May 1, 2021.
