EY Massey

E.Y. Massey passed away April 5,2023 at home. E.Y. was born in Estancia, New Mexico to Samual and Hazel Massey, the second of seven children. E.Y. served in the Army in WWII from June 1942 until he was discharged in November, 1945. E.Y. married Cecelia Wood in May, 1948 and later that year, moved to Delta, CO. He, Cecelia and three sons then moved to Grand Junction in 1954. He was an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by two sons, Jack (Debbie) and Steven, two grandkids Katy and Luke, one great grandson Gage, one brother Kay Massey as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

He was proceeded in death by his wife Cecelia, son Austin, his parents, and siblings Obera Engle, Mary Alexander, Oliver Massey, Jack Massey and Betty Peacock.

E.Y. and Cecelia were members of the Patterson Road Church of Christ.
