Flora (Flo) Ida Wilhelm passed away at the age of 96 in Grand Junction, CO at the HopeWest Hospice Center. She was born on May 22, 1925, to Henry and Emma (Sprengel) Walden in Evansville, IN and was the middle child of her two sisters, Hazel and Iona.

After graduating from Bosse High School, Flo worked as a riveter for making aircraft during WWII, while in Evansville, IN. In November,1946, she married Harold Wilhelm of Chandler, IN, and a few years after the war, the couple moved to Ft. Collins, CO, along with their two sons, while Harold was a student at Colorado State University. Later, they moved to the historical Buchtel Village in Denver, while Harold attended Denver University and worked for United Airlines. He was transferred to Kansas City, MO, where the family lived for two years before Flo and Harold returned to Aurora, CO in 1957 to live there until 1966. While in Aurora, Flo worked at Gates Company, manufacturing home use steam irons, as well as for Martin Marietta and the City of Aurora, as Harold continued to work for United. With their sons, Randy and Rusty, the family built a home on 20 acres of land east of Parker, CO. Flo worked as a telephone operator and office supervisor at Buckley Air Force Base during this time. She was divorced from Harold in 1971.

In September 1976, Flo married Greg Krzyzak and moved with him in 1991 to Parachute, CO from Aurora. The couple then settled to live in Clifton, CO from 1996 until her death. Flo was a creative crafter, who enjoyed sewing, painting, cooking, travel, and square and round dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Hazel Ivy and Iona Miller, and first husband, Harold Wilhelm.

Flo is survived by her husband Greg Krzyzak; sons Randall Wilhelm of Westcliff, CO and Sheldon (Rusty) Wilhelm of Greeley, CO; five grandchildren, Desiree (Kenny) Guzman of Mooresville, NC, Steph Wilhelm of Tempe, AZ, Stacie Wilhelm (Richard Walther) of Westminster, CO, Sarah Wilhelm (Mikeal Macbeth) of Ft. Collins, CO and Sharon (Michael) Forsythe of Owasso, OK; three great granddaughters, Anabella and Miranda Guzman of Mooresville, NC and Lennon Forsythe of Owasso, Ok; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation took place and a graveside service will be held in the spring of 2022 in Parker, CO.
