Frank Joseph Sackrider, age 54, died Friday, May 4, 2018 following a brief illness at home surrounded by his family. Frank was born November 7, 1963 in Glenwood Springs, CO. He is preceded in death by his mother, Laura Sackrider. Frank is survived by his wife of 35 beautiful years Anna. They have 3 children: Brandi (Greg) Ewing, Frankie (Brittney) Sackrider, Sarah Sackrider all of whom live in Clifton, CO. Also 8 grandchildren who knew him as “Papa”. His father Bud (Verna) Sackrider reside in Silt, CO. He had the privilege of being known as: son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend to many.
Frank attended Rifle High School. He worked as a Superintendent in Excavation/Construction for Upland Construction for 2 years. But, was involved in this type of work for 25 years. He enjoyed his job of working in the dirt on big boy toys!
Frank and Anna were baptised as Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 15,1991, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses they learned about the resurrection hope. This hope helped him and his family through trials they have faced and continue to face. His family has a firm belief they will see him in Paradise. As a family they enjoyed teaching others about the resurrection hope.
Frank was always there to help anyone he met. He enjoyed going to his Dad’s house to help with any chores. Papa loved doing anything with his family, especially being in the outdoors with his grandchildren hunting and fishing. Dad loved telling and listening to stories of all his memories; especially those that made mom shake her head!
Memorial services will be Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 3303 E ¾ Road, Clifton, CO 81520.
Services have been entrusted to Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Services.
