Fred Martinez

Fred Martinez has completed his earthly race.  He was born on July 18, 1929 to Isabell and John Martinez and passed away peacefully with his wife, Louise Martinez, at his side at Mesa Manor on September 28, 2021.  Fred loved Jesus early in his life and never wavered in his faith and was an active member of the Assemblies of God church.  Fred was an accomplished landscaper and business owner and did it all with a 3rd grade education and one eye!  Fred will be missed by his family and anyone who knew him.  Fred is preceded in death by his two daughters - Mona and Loraine and his mother Isabell and his father John and his brother Danny and his sister Lillian.  Fred is survived by his wife Louise, his son Johnny (Mary), 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and he is survived by the legacy he leaves behind for every generation that had the pleasure of knowing him and being touched by his testimony and his work ethic.  From the bottom of our hearts - thank you Fred for your life.  Viewing will be at Brown's Funeral Chapel on October 13 from 6 - 7 p.m. and the funeral service will be October 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel followed by an Honor Service at the Veterans Cemetery.
