Frona Bell Stoffel

Frona was born in Wakeeney, Kansas and raised in eastern Colorado. Frona met her husband, Gene, at a dance in 1943 and married the following year. Frona and Gene were married for 67 years until Gene's passing in 2011. They had one daughter, Linda, born in 1947.

Frona and Gene enjoyed boating and fishing in their earlier years and square dancing and playing cards later on.

Frona retired from Fitzsimons Army Medical Base in Aurora, Colorado and upon moving to Grand Junction worked for school district 51 for 15 years.

Frona is survived by her daughter, Linda Van Doozer, granddaughter, Tiffany Candelario and great granddaughter, Tasia Candelario.

Frona was tenacious and tough and she would be proud to be remembered for those qualities. You will be missed!
