Gary Dowell

Gary Dowell age 59 died October 30th 2022 following a sudden illness.

Gary had a gypsy soul, between Kentucky, Colorado and Arizona he spent many years going back and forth. However despite having a hatred for the cold, Colorado always drew him back.

For the last 21 yrs Gary worked for Rocky Mountain Steel. The core of this company has been Gary's family for so long. Gary built a brotherhood with James Zimmerman and Brooks Rush that would never be broken. They worked side by side with Gary and had a bond like no other.

Gary was stubborn, hardheaded but the most loving caring guy. He always protected the ones he loved.

Gary always said " if I can't fit it in my duffle bag, I don't need it"  and he lived by that.

Gary is proceeded in death by: His Father Elmer Calton Dowell,  his mother Emma Jean Varcla

1 Brother Elmer Carlton Dowell Jr, 2 Sisters Vicky High and Sandy Dowell and A Brother in law George Andrews.

He is Survived by His friend and his long time love Christina Shaw 2 daughters Jessica Dowell and Dakota Dowell. 1 Brother Rob Dowell and 2 Sisters Pam Holbrook and Gail Lynn Andrews. Along with many niece and nephews who loved him dearly.
