George was born on December 2, 1949 in Pittsburg California. He was the son of Gloria Giambalvo(Corral) and Anthony Giambalvo

Graduated from Balboa Highschool in the Panama Canal zone and went to college in Lake Tahoe, California. George graduated with a business degree.

He enjoyed playing basketball, racquetball, and he practiced Ninjutsu. Going to music and concerts was a favorite pastime also.

George is survived by his wife of 30 years Janice Carlson; Son Erik Giambalvo, sister Annette (Tom) Tesler, sis Trinnie (Earnest) Clay and sister Connie (Christopher) Short as well as 8 nieces and nephews.
