Georgia Lee Todd

Georgia Lee Todd, age 80, passed away the morning of January 11th, 2024, peacefully in her sleep.

Born January 17th, 1943 Silvercliffe, Co. She was the daughter of the late Lowell Zentz, and Alice Zentz.

She attended Colorado State University in Pueblo, Colorado.

She was a psychiatric technician, nurse, and caregiver in the medical field for most of her life.

She was a Christian.

She enjoyed playing basketball, reading (one of her favorites was Harry Potter,) music, dance, rodeos, puzzles, mysteries, gardening, nature, psychology, and animals (Most of all her cats)

She was everyone's Grandma. Even her close friends referred to her as Grandma. She was a bit of a firecracker, outgoing, and friendly. She was also a jokester, and close with her family, and friends. 

She was always there for people. She was a good listener, and loved to help in any way she could. A very dedicated, loyal worker and friend. If you were her friend, you might as well just consider yourself family. She was the type of person who would give the shirt off her back if she knew it would help.

Georgia Todd was preceded in death by her eldest son Larry (Mardel) Meeks

Georgia Todd was survived by her former husband and friend Thomas Todd, her sons Lynn Meeks, and David Dodds, her daughter Sheryl Dodds, her older sister Iris Brown, her grandchildren -Ashley Canaday, -Candice Canaday, -Terry Montgomery, -Clinton Meeks, Jessica Dodds and many more great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

A Celebration of life will be held Friday, January 19th, 2024 at Brown's Cremation & Funeral Service @2pm, address: 904 N. 7th Street Grand Junction, Co 81501
