Gerald Paul Anderson

Gerald Paul Anderson, 99 died June 26, 2024, peacefully in his room at the Veterans State Nursing home in Rifle, Colorado.

Born April 24th, 1925, to Fayette and Lois Anderson. Gerald served in the Navy and his stories of the war were hard to hear but we all knew that at a young age he was a hero to his nation.

Gerald moved to Grand Junction, Colorado to be near his brother Rodney Anderson and continued to live there until his health required him to move to Rifle, Colorado and have more skilled nursing care.

Gerald had two nieces that loved him dearly and took care of the things he needed as he grew older. Robin McCain lives in Grand Junction, Colorado and Lori Bennett lives in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. They loved their uncle dearly and visited him every week until the day he died.

Gerald will be missed by all the family and friends that grew to love him to the very end of his life.

Services have been entrusted to Browns Cremation and Funeral Services.
