Geraldine Ball

June 1, 1931 — December 2, 2020

Geraldine Estella Palmer Ball went to join her husband beyond the sunset to walk hand in hand towards the Heavens.

Geraldine Estella (Palmer) Ball, nickname Gerry – Born at home on June 1st, 1931 in Feeder Dam, New York to Ralph H. Palmer and Mary Reynolds. The property is still in the family!

Geraldine attended a one room schoolhouse in Feeder Dam from 1st to 6th grade and bussed to South Glens Falls School, 7th to 12th grade!

Married Clifton George Ball of West Glen Falls in 1949. They had 8 children. She is survived by Clyde Charles (Carol) Ball, Kathleen Ethel (Gary) Roberge, Clifton George Ball Jr., Thomas Neal Ball, Rebecca Ruth Ball. Her siblings, Dorothy Van Gilder of Glen Falls, New York, Estella Sabargo of Feeder Dam, New York, Elizabeth Harvey of Derry, New Hampshire, Ralph Palmer of New York, David Palmer of Scottsdale, Arizona, Pauline Palmer of Greensburg, New York.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Vernon of New York, Donald of New York, Paul of Pennsylvania, Myrtle Keeler Roy of Washington, Freda Shaw of New York, her children, Karen Barajas of Rhode Island, Geraldine Sillas/Mendoza, and Bernard C. Ball. She was blessed with 33 grandchildren, 43 great great grandchildren, and 10 great great great grandchildren.

Geraldine volunteered for 20 years as a foster grandparent in Grand Junction, Colorado, mostly for pre-schoolers!

Service details are still pending, the family of Geraldine is planning to spread her on the monument to be with her husband.
