Gilbert H.Garcia

Gilbert Henry Garcia was born on April 18,1952 in Cortez, CO. He passed away after a brief illness on May 31, 2021.

He enjoyed talking to everyone he met.  He had a gift of conversation and could talk to strangers, friends and family for hours. Growing up he liked to play softball. Throughout his life he liked to hunt with his brothers, nephews and nieces. Spending a day on the lake fishing was another one of his favorite past times. He loved to spend weekends camping with his family members. There wasn’t a Sunday that he didn’t spend on the couch watching the Broncos. Sports were a big part of his life including watching the Rockies and Avalanche. He enjoyed all things outdoors such as four wheeling and just being in the mountains.  But most of all he loved bragging about his Wife, Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Patricia; Children & Spouses, Bill Garcia, Amy Garcia, Gilbert Garcia Jr., Anjrell & (Paul) Martinez, Tim & (Heidi) Garcia. 19 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Brothers, Isidore, Manuel, Louie, & Miles. Sister, Cotella Trujillo, Cecilia Maez.

He is proceeded in death by his Parents Jose Manuel & Anna Marie Garcia, also Brothers, Max and Rudy.  Sisters, Delphenia Barela, Francis Leon & Lacidia Gurlue.
