Gloria Mosley

Gloria Jean Mosley, 71, was called home by the Lord on July 9, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer.

Gloria was born in New Orleans, LA as a New Year’s baby to Roy and Alice Florene Mosley in 1947.  She has called Grand Junction, Colorado her home since 1973, where she was a devoted mother, friend, and worshiper of God.   Gloria was self-employed in the housekeeping industry and was blessed to work for Cheryl Reimer Ketchem for many years.

Gloria enjoyed visits and conversation with her many beloved friends and family.  She adored the company and companionship of her fur babies, Sissy, Sassy and Bubba.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Alice Florene, her brother Jimmy Mosley, and sister Joyce Andrews.  She will be missed by her sons Kenny Ricks (Laura) and Kerry Ricks (Jenny), her daughter Lori Ricks-Sharp,  nine Grandchildren, Nikki, Michelle, Billy, Zach, Ashley, Kylee, Morgan, Aislyn, and Graysen and seven Great-Grandchildren.  Gloria is also survived by her brother Kenny Mosley (Brenda), her sister Sandy Groce (Vernon), and many nieces and nephews.

Per Gloria’s request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  However, if desired, memorial contributions can be made in Gloria’s name to Hope West Hospice Care Center, 3090 N 12th Street, Grand Junction, Colorado 8156 or HopeWestCo.org.

Services have been entrusted to Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Services.
