Gwen Trubey

Gwen Lee Trubey, age 89, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018.  She was born June 6, 1929, in Waukomis, Oklahoma.  Gwen was the daughter of the late Theodore E. Campbell and Margaret Marie Campbell.

Gwen attended college and high school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  She attended Oklahoma University for one year for nurses training and she also worked for Phillips.

She owned a fabric store in Oklahoma from 1972 to 1980 and loved sewing.  Gwen was an avid quilter and loved to knit as well. Gwen enjoyed going to church at Heart of Junction when she could.  She loved her family and will be truly missed by all.

Gwen was preceded in death by her mother Marie (Spindell) Campbell and her father, Ted Campbell.

Gwen is survived by her husband, Dale B. Trubey, daughter Debbie (Walter) Tidmore of Alb, NM, son Mark (Diane) Snodgrass of Yukon, Ok, daughter Susie (Jeff) Cupp of Grand Junction, CO, Sister Tommy Lou Flynn of Edmond, OK and 10 Grandchildren and 18 Great-Grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at Chapel at Pioneertown in Cedaredge, Colorado, Monday, December 10, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
