Herman Richard(Ricky) Murillo Ricky was welcomed into this world by his parents, Shelley Walton and Herman J. Murillo on October 4, 1984, in Belen, NM. Ricky spent his childhood in New Mexico and Texas before moving to Collbran, CO with his mom and stepfather. Ricky, his brother Michael and sisters, Connie and Barbara spent their summers in Albuquerque, NM with their dad and stepmother.
Ricky attended Plateau Valley School, graduating in 2003. Spent a few years working various jobs and traveling. Rick married Shasta Brown September 16, 2007. They brought 6 beautiful children into our lives. Ricky worked at WSI Global. Learning a trade in machining and welding. Ricky loved working with his hands and creating things. Ricky and Shasta moved their family to Belen, NM, where Rick continued machining until he moved to Albuquerque and joined his father at Noble Automotive. Ricky met and became engaged to September Swanner. Rick and September moved back to Grand Junction in November 2022 to be close to his children. Rick returned to WSI Global.
Ricky loved spending time with his children more than anything else.
Ricky is proceeded in death by his sister, Connie, fiancée September, father Herman, maternal grandparents Richard and Barbara Walton, and fraternal grandfather Herman F. Murillo
Rick is survived by his children, Maddison, Orion, Lee, Tabitha, Elsiemae, and Watson. Mother Shelley, stepfather Larry Davlin and his wife. Stepmother Elvira Murillo, Sister Barbara and Billy Rentner, Brothers Michael and Kimberly Murillo, Dennis and Jennifer Chavez, Grandmother Inez Gonzales. Numerous nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles and a multitude of cousins. Ricky will be missed by each and everyone. Services are pending
