Hildegard Anna Carrizo

Hildegard Anna Carrizo passed on Saturday, January 12, 2025 at the age of 94 in hospice care at Hopewest of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Having been born in April 26th, 1930 in Mannheim, Germany, she was a 1956 immigrant to New York and became a naturalized US citizen. She recently lived on her own for 22 years, after her husband Albert Carrizo died on May 3rd, 2003.

Hildegard was passionate about sewing, quilting, needle-pointing and knitting, gardening, flowers of all types and painting were others of her favorite interests.

Hildegard is survived by her only Harold (Sharon) Carrizo, two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, she will be greatly missed by many.
