Jack K. Kelly, died peacefully with his loving wife, Susan, holding his hand on July 26, 2018. Jack loved family, all sports, music and his cats. Born in Provo, Utah, February 3, 1930, was a talented singer and dancer; he performed at church, school and town functions from a tender age. Jack played piano, ukulele and harmonica. Jack loved conducting and led his church choir. He loved all music from Jazz to Classical, Frank Sinatra and Rachmanioff were two of his favorites. Educated in Provo, he played baseball and basketball for Provo High and followed BYU sports avidly. Jack married Geraldine Salisbury February 24, 1949, He worked for F W Woolworth in many western states adding three sons along the way; Karl, Kendall, and Kris. They settled in Provo and Jack began a 37 year career as a Surgical Supply Sales Rep for Physician’s Supply, Diagnostic Marketing and Sierra Medical. Jack and Geri divorced and he then met Susan and they were married. Susan came with two sons, Corbin and Collin. He loved them and was happy to be “Dad”. Jack loved discussing and playing sports with his boys Kendall and Karl. He enjoyed talking sports with the extended Kelly clan. Corbin and Collin played soccer and Jack never missed a game unless he was out of town. Jack is survived by wife Susan, sons Karl (Karla) Kelly, Kendall (Nancy) Kelly, Collin (Jennifer) Weller and Corbin (Michelle) Weller, 9 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lydia and Sam; Sisters Emily and Evelyn; Brother Sam; and his son, Kris. The family thanks Hope West Hospice for their compassionate, dignified care; in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hope West. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
