After a long illness Jack M. Lundy passed away on Valentine's Day at 10:25 pm under the loving care of Hospice Care Center holding his wife's hand. He was born 3/19/1937 in Jersey City, NJ and family moved to Colorado shortly thereafter. He met his wife in the halls of Old GJHS on Chipeta. After dating 2 years, they married shortly after graduation. Jack was a hard worker committed to whatever he did from working in wheat fields @12 years old driving truck, through the summer; oil fields, Climax mill, McAtlins Lumber Mill, but his love was cars and anything to do with them. He worked for NAPA Auto Parts with three generations of the Akens Family for 42 years and had all the parts numbers in his head-needing no parts catalogs. He was well known in GJ and well liked . He loved to tell his stories of hunting and fishing, camping etc and always added to them each time they were told! His greatest love, after his wife, was his 3 sons-the pride of his life! He leaves his loving wife, sons Dana, Madras, Oregon David, Glade Park & Sean Magnolia Texas, 3 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 3 great grandsons and one lonely little dachsund, Wolfie, his buddy. As per Jack's wishes, there will be no funeral, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be spread on his beloved Uncompahgre on Dottie & Jack's 60th wedding anniversary 8/7.

Our marriage was one wild roller coaster ride, but roller coasters were always more fun that Merry go rounds. I'll miss you forever - Dottie
