Jack Rice

Jack L. Rice, 85 years old, passed away peacefully from complications due to a long-term illness, with his wife of 38 years by his side. His final home will be in heaven with his heavenly father.

Jack was born June 21, 1934 to Edgar and Alma Rice in Golden, Colorado. He was the oldest of five children. He graduated from Golden Deamon High School in 1952.

Jack worked in the garage for School District 51. He also worked on computers in the office of transportation. Jack retired from School District 51 in 1995.

Before his illness, he loved his bingo, shopping, music, walking his dogs, and crushing cans.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Alma Rice; brother, Eddie; sister, Dixie, and nephew, Richie Rice.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen Rice; step son, Richard Allen; brothers, Bob and Bill; sister, Susie; Uncle, James Mechem and wife, their spouses, nieces, and nephews.
