Jack Rund

Jack Robert Rund Jr. , age 77, died March 7, 2021.  Born March 19, 1943 in St. Louis Missouri, he was the son of the late Jack and Nadyne Rund.  His family later moved to Arizona.  As an adult, Jack moved to Southern California where he raised his family.  He retired in Fruita, Colorado and lived there for the past 12 years.

He was a veteran of the US Army, having served as 2nd Lieutenant.

Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, playing games and telling jokes.  He loved his Mondays at Adobe Creek, playing golf and afternoons having a beer with his buddies.  He enjoyed being a member of the Elks Lodge.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Beggs, his daughter Jennifer(Roger) Holz, his son Jason (Stephani) Rund, his sister Jill,  his five grandchildren, Emily, Ally, Bradyn, Trevor, and Chloe as well as his extended family.  He will be remembered for his love, warmth, friendliness, and wit.
