James Andrew Dyke May 8, 1965 - March 11, 2023

Jim passed away in his sleep from natural causes on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Jim’s unexpected death was a shock to us all. He went to be with our Lord and Savior at age 57. Jim was born in Pomona, California to Ernest Andrew and Nancy Lou Dyke on May 8, 1965.

Jim grew up in Springville, California. He went to college in California and picked up the trade of construction. He moved to Colorado in 1995 and turned his small constructive business into a successful, corporation that does commercial and residential properties. Jim and his family were in the process of moving to Northern Idaho this June to start a new chapter in their lives.

Jim enjoyed adventures, traveling all over the world, and loving his friends and family. His zest for life would light up the room along with his wit, smile, and laughter. He loved his wife and three daughters with his whole heart and would talk constantly about them to everyone he met.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Dyke, his step-father, William Johnson, and his daughter, Caitlin Grace Dyke. He is survived by his wife, Janine Marie Dyke, children Jordan Marie Dyke, Emerson Hope Dyke, and Taylor Brooke Dyke, mother, Nancy Dyke, aunt Joan Robertson, sisters Vicki Wingfield (preceded in death Jack) Nancy Jordt (Robert), Tracy Hillman (Tom), and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Victory Life Church 2066 Highway 6 & 50, Fruita, Colorado 81521 on Friday March 31, 2023 at 11:00 am, lunch to follow at church then celebration of life at sister and brother in laws house 2160 S. Canyon View Dr. Grand Junction, CO 81507.

Please wear blue for all services and celebration of life if you can. He had the most beautiful blue eyes and loved anything with water, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and oceans.
