James Robert Hesse

James Robert Hesse, age 90 died 09.March 2025 following a brief illness.

Born June, 28th 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was the son of the late Claude and Helen Hesse.

Jim graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1960.

He was a Corporal who served in the US Army.

Jim was a retired Farm and Ranch Broker who sold Agricultural Real Estate and Water Rights. He truly enjoyed his work and met many interesting people along the way.

Jim enjoyed telling stories of his life and happenings and was a man of few words but what he spoke had meaning. He had a great sense of humor. He and his wife Kappy made their home in the mountains of Colorado and enjoyed every minute of what Colorado had to offer: Hunting, fishing, skiing, swimming at the GWS hot pool, sightseeing and hiking. He loved his family and the outdoors and spent time in Alaska where he grew up.

Jim was preceded in death by: Sister and brother in law, Claudette (John) Bennett.

Jim is survived by: wife of 62 years, Katherin (Kappy), daughters Anna, Laura (David), brothers, Lou (Judy) and Jerry (Mary), nieces, Barbara, Kelli, Julie, Mike and Angie and two grandchildren Sage Lucero and Carly Lucero.

A private service will be held.
