James Francis Phillips

James Francis (Jim) Phillips passed away from this life on July 11, 2024, at the age of 91. Jim was proceeded in death by his mother, Ann F. Phillips and his two brothers, Clifford V. Phillips and Michael A. Phillips. He is survived by his younger sister, Rita K. Day and his children, Carol Logston, Cheryl Sullivan and Michael Phillips. He spent his later years in Colorado surrounded by a variety of animals, but was especially fond of parrots, pugs & hound dogs which he raised for sale and as pets. In lieu of flowers, Jim would be pleased if you could consider a gift to an animal shelter in Jim's honor. He was proud of his service with the US Coast Guard and will be buried at the Veterans Cemetery in Grand Junction, CO . Services are tentatively scheduled for July 29th at 10 A.M. at the veterans cemetery.
