James Edward Shires

James Edward Shires, born 1947 in Fruita, Colorado, into humble circumstances. He ultimately grew into a kind and thoughtful man, beloved by most who knew him.

He married. Then a son and daughter entered the family. After, three grandchildren appeared. Jim lost his son in 2015, the greatest sorrow in his life. 

Later, Jim accepted Jesus as his savior, and knew his name would be written in the Book of Life. As his days dwindled, he was very eager to leave this world.

We can now rejoice that he has gone to Eternity.
