Jameson Keith Kovach, age 36, passed away on May 16, 2024 following a sudden illness.
Born April 18, 1988 in Grand Junction, CO, he was the son of Ronald and Linda Kovach of Fruita, CO. He attended Fruita schools, graduating from Fruita Monument High School in 2006. He attended Colorado State University in 2006-07 and graduated from Metropolitan State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance and Sport.
Jameson was assistant superintendent of a golf course. He enjoyed many sports, including football, basketball, hockey, baseball, biking, golf, hunting, fishing, and camping.
He was friendly, quiet, kind, hardworking, generous, and intelligent beyond belief. Jameson was dedicated to family, always helping out, especially when needed by his Grandmother Lucille. He even ensured that after he was gone, he would continue to give to others through the gift of tissue donation.
He also had the amazing ability to instantly befriend almost any animal. His faithful rescue dog, Winter, was one of the greatest joys of his adult life; his love for her was unlike any other, the epitome of “a man’s best friend.”
Jameson is survived by his parents, his sisters Camille Kovach and Shayne (Beau) Chadwick, his nephew Easton Chadwick and nieces Sawyer and Sutton Chadwick, whom Jameson adored. As well as his grandmother, Lucille Paulson, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of Life will be Friday May 24, 2024 at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution in Jameson’s name to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington D.C. 20077-7127.
