Janet E. Hastie

Janet E. Hastie passed away October 4, 2021, in Palisade, CO, at the age of 71.

A former resident of Bogota, NJ, Henderson, NV, and Endicott, NY, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Kelley Hastie of Palisade, CO, and Tim and Michelle Hastie of Las Vegas, NV, and grandchildren Charley, Dean, and Alexis.  She is also survived by her brother Don French of Totowa, NJ, and her sister and brother-in-law Ellen and Gene Di Stasi of Bogota, NJ, nieces and nephews, and a large extended family

Janet graduated from Bogota High School and William Paterson College.  She was a devoted wife of 52 years to Dennis Hastie Sr., who passed only a month earlier, and a caring mother to her two sons. She had plans of retiring in November from her position at Deloitte and traveling.

A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date in the New Jersey area.
