Jay Bashara

Jay R. Bashara, age 74, of Grand Junction
passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his
home.
Born Oc t o b e r  2 4 , 1 9 3 9  i n Red Oak ,
Oklahoma, son of the late Karl and Elaine
Bashara. he was a veteran of the United States
Navy.
Prior to his retirement Jay had been
employed as an insurance inspector.
He was a member of Bookcliff Baptist
Church.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Rae Jarrad
Bashara, two sons, Matthew J. (Melissa)
Bashara, and Michael "Jack" Bashara, all of
Grand Junction, one brother, George (Bonnie)
B a s h a r a , Midwestcity , O K , a n d t w o
grandchildren, Stephanie and Jarad, both of
Grand junction, CO.
Friends are invited to services on Monday,
June 9th at 11 o'clock at Bookcliff Baptist
Church , 2702 Pa t t e r s o n  R o a d , G r a n d
Junction, CO followed by inurnment with
Military Honors at 3 p.m. at Veterans
Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado,
2839 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction,
CO.
