Bryce passed from this life Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was born to Clifford and Alice Sanburg in Montrose, CO on March 22, 1939. He attended Riverside School and then graduated from Montrose County High School in 1957. He had a 35 year career with Colorado Department of Highways starting on Red Mountain as a maintenance worker ending as Superintendent in Craig. He married Ann Jeannette Franks of Montrose on September 9, 1962. He had the greatest love for Our Lord. The second love in his life was his family. Family time was so very important to him. After retirement he and Jeannette spent much time traveling with their fifth wheel all over the US. He loved photographing his family as well as scenery and wildlife. He loved woodworking and spending time at the family homestead. He is survived by his loving wife Ann Jeannette (Franks) Sanburg, Kathy Higgins (Chris) of Highlands Ranch, Patty Jensen (Charlie) of Clifton, Susie Palmer (Doug) of Meeker and Carol Wells (Gale) of Gunnison. Also, grandchildren Matt and Katie Higgins of Highlands Ranch, Dana Diaz of Grand Junction and Rossi Diaz of Highlands Ranch, Kristi Wilson (Justin) and Jessica Harrison (Joe) of Meeker, four great granddaughters Riley and Skyler Wilson and Haigen and Hadley Harrison all of Meeker and his brother Dutch (Walter) Sanburg (Dorothy) Castle Rock, sisters Barb Longwell (Jim) and Betty Donley of Montrose. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Alice Sanburg of Montrose.
