Jeffrey Posthumus

Jeffrey Scott Posthumus, age 60, died on November 11th, 2022, in Grand Junction, CO.

Jeff was born on July 19th, 1962 to Donna (Cihacz) Posthumus and Robert Posthumus in Muskegon, Michigan. Jeff was proud to be a Muskegon Big Red, Class of 1980 where he excelled in sports such as Basketball, Track, and his first love- Cross Country. He was proud to be called "Slew" by his teammates. His favorite part of his home state was Lake Michigan.

Jeff spent most of his life living in California and his free time was spent cooking his favorite dishes, especially his mother and grandmother's recipes, and playing the guitar. He enjoyed the views of the ocean driving up PCH on the weekends. During his time in Colorado, he loved to explore the mountainous area of Grand Junction and living up on the Mesa in a cabin. Jeff often prayed with his sister Karen and had a deep faith in God.

Jeffrey Scott Posthumus was preceded in death by: his beloved grandfather: Dominick Cihacz, his mother: Donna Cihacz-Posthumus, his father: Robert Posthumus, and his sister: Shelie.

Jeffrey Scott Posthumus is survived by: his child: Carl Posthumus, his sisters: Karen Posthumus-Heer, Teresa Posthumus, and Paula Posthumus-McIlrath.
