Jeffery Dwane Thompson

Jefferey Dwane Thompson, 52, died April 3, 2023 following a long struggle with alcohol and the effects.

Born June 1, 1970 in Denver, Colorado he was the youngest son of the late Richard and Marie Thompson.  Jeff graduated from Arvada West High School in 1988 and despite being the youngest was the first in the family to graduate college, Colorado State in 1992.  Jeff was a lifelong Ram!!!

Jeff spent the majority of his career in banking in the Denver Market.  Jeff attained the highest level of commercial lending.  Later in life Jeff was proud of attaining Personal Trainor certification and enjoyed teaching fitness. 

Jeff enjoyed baseball growing up and was a lefty pitcher.  After college Jeff caught the golf bug and was an accomplished player.  Jeff also enjoyed running and completed several marathons across the country. 

Prior to his disease taking over Jeff was extremely outgoing and the life of every party.  Jeff was always surrounded by friends and had an uncanny ability to relate to most people.  Forever the little brother, Jeff was fiercely loyal to his family. 

Jeff was preceded in death by both parents, Richard and Marie. 

He is survived by his children, Dylan and Lauren Thompson, and his older brothers Rich and Tony. 

Services will be May 20, 2023 in the Denver area.
