Jerry Adams

November 16, 1931 — April 16, 2018


Jerry "Bumpy" Adams, age 86, peacefully went home to be
with the Lord on April 16th 2018 after a battle with Parkinson's.
He was born on November 16th, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA.
The son of Charles Dudley Adams and Avis Etta Andrews
He graduated from El Monte High School, El Monte, CA
He was a veteran of the US Army having served as PFC during the Korean War.
Jerry had been employed as a mechanic, a draftsman for Disney, an official for SCCA & Cal Club,
and his favorite job with Bell Helmets. He also a bus driver for Laidlaw.
Jerry was member of Fellowship Church, the NRA and the AMA.
He enjoyed anything and everything that had to do with cars. He raced cars in the late 50's and early 60's
He was always watching any race that was on TV, also rode motorcycles. He rode in the Colorado 500 for 22years.
Restoring cars was one of his greatest joys.
Jerry was a quiet family man with a HUGE heart.
Jerry is survived by his daughter Michelle (Chris) Kendrick, his granddaughter Ellie (Bryan) Hughes
and great grandchildren Tynlie & Rylan Hughes.
Military service at the VA cemetery Tuesday April 24th at 3 PM
