Jo Watkins

Jo Michael Watkins, Age 57 died August 13, 2021 following a brief illness.   He was born February 17, 1964 in Fruita, CO and was the son of the late Charles Robert and Donna Gayle (Wells) Watkins.

Jo graduated from Fruita Monument High School and Colorado Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO.

Jo made a career as a Diesel Mechanic in the Automotive Industry.

He was a member of The Church of Christ in Cortez and then Grand Junction, CO.

Jo enjoyed 4 wheeling, camping, hunting and fishing.   He was devoted to his family; especially his nieces and nephews.   He was fun loving, giving and really enjoyed teaching others on 4 wheelers.

Jo was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother Leonard (Len)

Jo is survived by his Sisters Darlyn (Thomas) Galvin and Jerry Redden, Brothers Robert Watkins and Roy (Terri) Watkins, and four half brothers Michael (Tiffany) Watkins, Elijah (Katie) Watkins, Aaron Watkins, and Seth Watkins; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday August 20, 2021 at 3:00 PM Elmwood Cemetery, Fruita, CO
