Joan Cordova

Joan Cordova passed away at her home on May 14^th, 2023. Joan was born on May 21^st, 1957 in Questa, New Mexico.

Joan worked for Ametek Dixon for over 20 years. While working there, Joan gained many close friends. Joan loved spending time with her family, camping, watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports. Joan also enjoyed the casinos with her husband Charles Cordova whom she married 1977.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Elix and Patricia Bailon, Rudy and Lola Martinez, husband Charles Cordova, daughter Lisa Cordova, brothers Cuca, Boo-boo (David), Henry, Hachie, and Robert, sisters Rosie, Jane, and Dorothy. 

Joan is survived by her daughter Diana (Beto) Cera, daughter Amy (Greg) Varela, son Michael (Melissa) Cordova, and daughter-in-law Tina Cordova. Brothers, Alex Bailon, Frank and Levi Martinez. 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on May 26^th, 2023 2:30pm at Brown’s Cremation and Funeral Service located at 904 N. 7^th Street Grand Junction, CO 81501. A dinner will follow at the Mesa County Fairgrounds located at 2785 US-50 Grand Junction, CO 81503 at the Sagebrush Building.
