Joanne Barnard

On July 3, 2017, JoAnne B. (Lehr) Barnard was surrounded by her fa mily when she passed at home.

She was born May 30, 1940 in Oceanside, CA, daughter of the late John Henry and Susie (Gadbury) Lehr.  JoAnne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family members "by marriage"  the same as her blood relatives.  The word "in-law" was not in her vocabulary.

JoAnne loved animals, especially dogs and wild birds.  Her dog, Bogey, could always be found in her lap.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore, one grandson, a daughter, several brothers and sisters.  Also, by her companion of the last 20 years, Jim Richardson.

She is survived by her son Ted Barnard and his wife, Chris, a daughter D.D. Leeson and her husband, Calvin.  Nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. She is also survived by one brother.
